Bowling Green Police Division is searching for a man who reportedly assaulted another man in the downtown area on Friday, around 2 a.m.
A man reported to police that he was running southbound on the sidewalk in front of Uptown Bar, trying to catch up with friends, when he accidentally bumped into a man standing on the sidewalk.
The unknown man reportedly began pushing the other man and knocked him to the ground. The suspect was white and was wearing an orange traffic vest. He reportedly got into an older model blue truck that drove east on East Wooster Street. A witness told police that the truck had a lift kit, and was possibly a Chevy.
