Effective immediately Bowling Green Recycling is no longer accepting books to be recycled. The value of the books no longer covers the costs of shipping or handling, according to Ken Rieman, of the center.
The books do not pay their way to market, so the center cannot afford to continue accepting books when there is a very real possibility that there will be no place to send them, Rieman said.
