The Bowling Green-based rideshare company ZiggyZooms is the recipient of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce’s Investor Grant for the second quarter of 2023.

Cameron Parke, president and CEO of ZiggyZooms, applied for the Investor Grant in hopes of using the money to help offset the cost of credit card readers, security cameras, and the development of a dispatch tool for the rideshare venture.

“Implementing credit card payment processors and developing a dispatch tool will enable us to reach a wider customer base and increase our market potential, particularly during bar-centric hours when the risk of DUIs and OVIs is the highest,” said Parke. “The cameras will help ensure safety and security of our drivers and passengers, while also simplifying insurance processes in case of accidents.”

The Quarterly Investor Grants are available to all Investors in good standing at the Chamber, and the application is available online for easy submission. The Quarterly Investor Grant provides a Chamber Investor up to $1,000 that can offset the cost of an employee training program, the purchase of business-related equipment, or applied towards the offset of a BGSU/Owens student internship. The deadline for the 3rd Quarter Grant submission is Sept. 30, 2023.
