BG Chamber to host ribbon cutting for City Egg

The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. on April 18 to celebrate the opening of City Egg in Bowling Green.

The event will be held at City Egg’s new downtown Bowling Green location, 121 S. Main St. Chamber Director Mary Hinkelman and Mayor Mike Aspacher will welcome owner Shain P. Buerk and the City Egg staff to the local business community.

City Egg is a sister concept to the full-service Scramblers restaurants that have been in business for more than 30 years with almost 30 locations throughout Ohio and Michigan. City Egg is considered a fast-casual alternative for guests who want fresh breakfast more conveniently.

The Bowling Green restaurant joins two other City Egg locations, one in Columbus and the other in downtown Toledo. Exclusive features include a handcrafted fresh-squeezed juice bar with a City Egg barista, community tables, Scramblers Private Label gourmet coffee and an emphasis on fresh food.

Ordering will be available online, by mobile and through tech-savvy kiosks.
