BGSU trustees to act on naming new home for Business Administration after Maurers.

The Bowling Green Board of Trustees at Friday’s session will act on naming the new home for the College of Business Administration after local realtor Robert Maurer and his wife, Patricia.

The resolution to be considered states the couples has made “a transformational commitment to Bowling Green
State University for the facility to be renovated to house the College of Business Administration.”

The building will be named the Robert W. and Patricia A. Maurer Center

The resolution also cites the Maurers long support for both the university and community endeavors.

The trustees will also consider a resolution to appropriate $5,722,780  from private donor funds and future long-term
debt funding to begin architecture, engineering and preconstruction work on Hanna Hall, which will be the new home for the College of Business Administration.

The total cost of the renovation is estimated at $44.8 million. No timetable for the project’s completion was found in the documents.
