Building razed to make room for new city building TOPICS:BG City Administration Building Posted By: David Dupont February 14, 2022 The house at 316 N. Church St., just north of the Bowling Green City Building, came down today as part of the project to build a new city building. Formerly owned by Wood Lane, the building was acquired by the city in 2019 when the city swapped a vacant lot at 1236 Conneaut Ave. for the house. The property adds 1.85 acres to the site. The new city administration building will be constructed where the former senior center is on North Main Street. The historic facade of what was originally a post office will be retained.
