David J. McQuown, 66, of Bowling Green, OH, passed away August 16, 2022, at Wood County Hospital. He was born November 2, 1955, in Effingham, IL to Paul McQuown and Ethel (Dotson) Weydert. He was a graduate of East Aurora High School.
David worked for over 40 years as a Semi Truck Driver most recently working for Wehrle Trucking Company. David was a member of Plain Church in Bowling Green, OH. He enjoyed working on restoring a 1973 truck and playing computer games.
He married Elizabeth (Maniego) January 8, 2020. She survives along with his mother, Ethel Weydert, siblings, Linda (Dave) McCoy, Jeannie (Matt) Brusatori, Karen Harding, Paula (Greg) Kula, Bonnie (Justin) Cowans, John Duncan, Timothy (Jennifer) McQuown, Tamara McQuown and Robert McQuown, 13 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, and brother, Fred Duncan.
Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Plain Church, 16011 W. Poe Rd., Bowling Green, OH. The family will receive guests at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Pastor Martin Braemer will officiate. Memorial Contributions can be given to Plain Church.
