David Stewart, 56, of Bowling Green passed away Monday February 27, 2017.
David was born in Lancaster, Ohio to Rev. James and Virginia (Smith) Stewart. He married Marge Bednarczyk on September 28, 2002 in Bowling Green and she survives. Also surviving are his children: Andrew Stewart of Bowling Green and Kathryn Stewart of Holland; siblings: Joy and James Stewart of Wauseon.
David was a grounds keeper for Bowling Green State University with 18 years of service. He was an avid Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Steelers fan and wouldn’t miss a game. He enjoyed camping in Michigan and Indiana and loved riding his Honda motorcycle. In David’s earlier years, he traveled with his father to the Holy Land. David was an avid pool player. He played on the VFW, Downtown Sports Bar and Grill and Quarters pool teams. David was a grill master and also enjoyed playing scrabble and other board games with his family.
Visitation for David will be on Saturday March 4, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the time of his Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 Am in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1460 W. Wooster St., P.O Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be gifted in David’s honor to the American Heart Association.
