John M Carty

John M. Carty, 56, of Bowling Green, Ohio was called home to his Lord and Savior sooner than we can humanly understand on March 2, 2017. He was born July 26, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio to Edward and Madonna (Miller) Carty.

He was a strong bold warrior for Christ in his own way through his action and peace making and the way he touched the lives of the Bowling Green community, his friends and family. He could also often times be heard telling people “never burn a bridge”.

John had a passion for living life to its fullest on a daily basis. He worked vigorously at any task at hand and often added a smile and laugh along the way.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Christian bible study. He was also a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church where he served as an usher and member of the maintenance committee. He was also a member and officer of the industrial golf league for 15 years.

He had plans for an upcoming July wedding with the love of his life and leaves behind Kathy his loving fiancé as well as his loving daughters Emily and Natalie. He is also survived by his brother Tim Carty of Bowling Green, sisters Maureen Carty of Bowling Green and Colleen (Don) Zajac of Bowling Green.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Kathleen Sears.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday March 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 150 S. Enterprise St Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Father Mark Davis will officiate. Interment will follow at Pemberville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday March 5, 2017 at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a spiritual prayer service beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
