Former inmate’s run cut short by loose pants

A Bowling Green ambulance responded to a call this morning about a former inmate injured in the front yard of the Wood County Justice Center.

The man had just been released from jail and started running across the lawn in front of the justice center on East Gypsy Lane Road. His pants fell, then he fell, injuring himself, said Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn. The man was taken to Wood County Hospital.

“We don’t know why he was running,” the sheriff said.  “The lesson is: No running in baggy pants.”
