I am writing in support of re-electing Ginny Stewart for a second term to the BG School Board.
Over the past 4 years she has exhibited her deep commitment to advocating for our children and youth to have access to rich and innovative learning experiences through safe and up-to-date facilities with the tools and resources required to achieve this.
As a former business owner, she also understands the link between the economic stability of a community and its ability to attract young families who include state of the schools as a key factor in making location decisions. Strong schools support strong communities and vice versa.
These are not just concepts to her. She has actively worked and continues to work tirelessly in support of staff, students and school programming, visiting, volunteering in the schools and engaging on behalf of them throughout the community.
As President of the School Board this past year, she has remained focused and persistent through the processes and challenges that accompany large initiatives with differing views. Her unwavering commitment remains.
I will vote for Ginny and encourage you to do the same.
