Jane E. Jividen, age 82, of Bowling Green, OH passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, OH. She was born on December 14, 1935 in Bradner, OH to Stewart and Velma (Long) Knepper. For over 25 years she was a secretary at BGSU. Jane was a former member of Pemberville United Methodist Church, Pemberville. In her spare time, she enjoyed lunches at the Pemberville Senior Center, swimming with the Senior Swimming Program at Wood County Hospital and reading. Most of all spending time with her family gave her the greatest joy.
Jane is survived by her children: John Jividen of Portage, Cathi (Les Mintz) Smith of Gibsonburg, Tim (Debbie) Jividen of Pemberville, grandchildren: Steve (Stephanie) Smith, Matt Smith, Jason Jividen, great grandson: Keegan Smith, brother: John (Carol Sue) Knepper of Bradner, nieces, nephews and special feline companion: Maddie. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law: Janet Jividen.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 4-8 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH where a memorial service will be conducted at 11 AM on Thursday, February 1, 2018. There will be additional visitation on Thursday from 10 AM until time of services. A bereavement luncheon will be served at the Pemberville United Methodist Church, Pemberville immediately following the memorial services. Consideration for memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society or Wood County Senior Center, Bowling Green.
