John E. Pultz, 80, of Deshler, Ohio and formerly of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away March 18, 2017. He was born April 20, 1936 in Bowling Green to Albert and Georgia Pultz. He married Kay Diebert and she preceded him in death August 28, 2014.
John worked at Alto as a setup operator retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Bowling Green Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and dirt track racing.
He is survived by his children Pat (Ty) Carr of Florida, Mike (Angel) Pultz of Florida, Sherry (Jimmie) Wells of Florida and Kimberly (Daryl) Cheney of Deshler, Ohio, sisters Ann (Bob) Nothrop of Florida and Caroline (David) Walter of Bowling Green, brother Ron (Carolyn) Pultz of Bowling Green, 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and his former wife Grace Kelley.
He was preceded in death by his wife Kay Pultz, his parents, daughter Suzan Pevey, and brothers Albert Pultz, George Pultz, Robert Pultz and Marion Pultz.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday March 23, 2017 at 1:30 p.m at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. Rev. David Boswell will officiate. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
