Library hosting virtual yoga session

From WOOD COUNTY DISTRICT PUBLIC LIBRARY

The holidays are certainly filled with fun and excitement, but they can also be stressful. The Wood County District Public Library wants to help relieve some of your stress by offering a virtual yoga session focused on relaxing and resetting yourself during this busy season. Registered yoga instructor, Sarah Solarik, leads the session on Google Meet on Monday, December 21 at noon.

“It’s important to remember to stay healthy, and health includes both physical and mental health,” says Rosie Minnick, Information Service and Outreach Assistant. “What better way to stay healthy and destress than with yoga?”

The session will run approximately 45 minutes, and participants are encouraged to have the following items on hand: yoga mat (or large towel), yoga blocks (or hard cover books or cylinder containers, i.e. bread crumbs, wet wipes, etc. ), yoga strap is optional (stap alternatives are hand towel or belt). To participate, send an email to woodref@wcdpl.org. For more information, call 419-352-5050.
