Ohio Senate District 2 candidate Reem Subei will hold a campaign kickoff party Sunday, Jan, 26th from 4-7 p.m. at SamB’s Restaurant, 163 S. Main St. Bowling Green.
The event will feature rounds of Connect 4 (or 5) and Jenga . Players will be invited to share their hopes and concerns for the region over appetizers and games as Perrysburg resident, Subei, kicks off her campaign.
According to the campaign: “Connect 4 has been a prominent theme in Subei’s campaign. The candidate sees it is a metaphor for her role as a legal aid attorney and future Ohio State Senator, connecting people to the resources they need to live their best lives and the power they deserve as participants in our democracy. ‘We all do better when we all do better,’ she said.'”
Subei recently was endorsed by EMILY’s List.
