Old post office turned senior center coming down (mostly) to make room for new city building

The demolition of the former senior center, which was built as a post office, has started.

Most of the building will be torn down to make room for the construction of a new city building. The 1914 facade will be preserved. The goal is for city offices to move into the new building in August of 2023. The project has a $11 million price tag.
