A 38-year-old pedestrian died when struck by a vehicle Friday night shortly before 10 p.m. on Route 6.
The sheriff received the call at 9:56 p.m. of a man who was struck by a vehicle while walking in the roadway a half mile west of the intersection with Bowling Green Road.
Ryan Shank, of Bowling Green, was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the collision.
No charges were filed. The incident remains under investigation.
The driver, who is not named in the report, was evaluated and released. The driver was uninjured.
