Retired Wood County judge says Paul Dobson upheld ‘high standards of the office’

I have known Paul since I hired him as an assistant prosecutor in 1996. Paul served Wood County as an assistant prosecutor for me until I was elected judge in 2002. Paul left the office for private practice but quickly realized he belonged in public service, so I hired him a second time.

Paul continued to work for Prosecuting Attorney Ray Fischer before being elected to three terms as prosecuting attorney himself.

Not only did Paul uphold the high standards of the office but expanded on service by creating programs for victims of crime and for low level offenders. He also advocated for laws protecting children and punishing drug dealers who target recovering users.

Paul is also active in the community, church, and professional organizations. This combination of experience, service, fairness, and dedication are exactly who Wood County needs on the common pleas court bench.

I urge you to vote for Paul Dobson for judge.
