Robert Stevens, 77, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016.
Robert was born to Joseph and Lola (Harris) Stevens in Windsor, Kentucky. He married Sandra Woodbury on June 28, 1956 in Kentucky, and she survives. Also surviving are his children Vicki (Gary) Weber of Bowling Green, Ohio; Debbi (Ritch) Adams of Bowling Green, Ohio; and Bob (GayAnn) Stevens of Bowling Green, Ohio; grandchildren: Joshua (Lisa) Adams; Christa (Ryan) Firsdon; Kaitlin (Jeremy) Burnham; Jonathon (Amanda) Stevens and Eric Weber; great grandchildren: Violet, Casen, and Jules. Robert was also preceded in death by his grandson Justin Smith; his brother: Elam Stevens and sisters: Betty Dilsaver, and Ethero Adkins.
Robert owned and operated Stevens Lawn Care Service for 24 years and worked at Green Manufacturing and for Henry Filters, where he retired after 30 years of service. Robert was a farmer and enjoyed traveling to Amish Country and to Florida. Robert was a member of Plain Congregational Church in Bowling Green. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.
Visitation for Robert will be Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of his funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Plain Congregational Church, 16011 W. Poe Road, Bowling Green, Ohio. Interment will follow in Plain Township Cemetery.
