The Bowling Green Rotary Club’s 2024 will present “Nashville Nights, the Stories Behind the Songs,” a night of heartfelt country music and storytelling , Friday, April 19, at 7:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building in Bowling Green City Park. A VIP Reception will pecede the show.
This annual fundraiser supports the Kids Coalition Against Hunger. It celebrates the rich narratives and cultural significance of country music. Attendees will be able to delve into the essence of country music with an evening that features the storytellers behind some of America’s most beloved songs. These artists have defined a genre that speaks to life’s varied tapestry, blending authenticity with universal appeal.
Nashville Nights will feature:
Dave Pahanish: The mastermind behind the hits “Without You” for Keith Urban, “American Ride” for Toby Keith, and “Do You Believe Me Now” for Jimmy Wayne.
Jace Everett: Known for “Bad Things” from HBO’s True Blood, blending a dark musical twist. For “That’s the Kind of Love I’m In”, and Josh Turner’s number one single, “Your Man.”
Dylan Altman: A chart-topping writer for stars like Tim McGraw’s “Watch the Wind Blow By”, Jake Owen’s “Barefoot Blue Jean Night”, and Jason Aldean’s “Take a Little Ride”.
Tickets are $100 with a cash bar is available.
Tickets for the VIP reception are an additional $150 (limited to 40 guests). Attendees will enjoy an all-access pass for a pre-event reception to mingle with the artists, hors d’oeuvres catered by The Willows at Bowling Green, hosted bar service, and front and center reserved seating for the performance, along with complimentary drink tickets.
All the proceeds will support the Kids Coalition Against Hunger. The club’s goal is $20,000 to assemble 70,000 pre-packaged meals for those in need, both locally and globally.
Three sponsorship tiers – Platinum ($5,000), Gold ($2,500), and Silver ($1,000), each with its perks, including VIP access and brand promotion.
