This letter is written to explain why Ryan Myers is the right candidate for the BG School Board. Ryan has devoted his entire professional career to education. He has worked with over 40 different school districts while working for a local Educational Service Center, and his current employer, Penta Career Center.
Ryan currently serves as the Penta special education director and holds a superintendent’s license. Mr. Myers has been making difficult decisions in an educational setting for years knowing that he always has the students best interests in mind. Budgets and curriculum are a part of Ryan’s everyday job responsibilities.
Ryan, in his experiences, has seen things that work, and he has seen things that don’t work within school systems. Ryan also has firsthand knowledge and experience of what students need to be successful in the classroom and for their future.
I’ve personally known Ryan for some time now. I see his passion for continuous improvement in his own job, and I know that he would have that same mindset if given the opportunity to serve the fine people of this community.
