The Wood County District Public Library will celebrate 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Reading Challenge with a family concert from bestselling children’s author and musician, Eric Litwin, Saturday, June 15 at 10:30 a.m. in the Bowling Green Library Atrium.
Eric Litwin, a New York Times bestselling, award-winning author, will some, strum and tell stories as hebrings early literacy, music, and positivity together.
He is the original author of the “Pete the Cat” series as well as the author of “The Nuts,” “Groovy Joe,” and “The Poop Song.” Litwin’s books have sold more than 13 million copies, been translated into 17 languages and won 26 literacy awards including a Theodor Geisel Seuss Honor Award.
The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program is supported by a gift from Pam and Ken Frisch.
