Earlier this evening (April 24, 2019) Bowling Green State University police responded to an incident in Lot 7 behind the Student Union.
A student accidentally shot himself in the hip inside his vehicle. He was conscious and alert when transported to the hospital.
Police are investigating. There is no threat to the community.
