A 19-year-old from Brunswick, Ohio, died early this morning (March 28) in an ATV.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 7000 block of Cloverdale Road north of the intersection of Jerry City Road, in Portage Township at 3:27 a.m.
The ATV had struck the bank of a ditch. The driver, Curtis A. Helman, was pronounced dead at the scene. A female passenger was transported to Wood County Hospital for injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
