From TOLEDO MUSEUM OF ART
The Toledo Museum of Art will celebrate Juneteenth with an outdoor celebration of culture and legacy Sunday, June 18, 4-10 p.m. in parking lot #3 on the museum’s grounds.
The event that commemorates the history and cultural significance of the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in 1865 will include musical performances from local bands, cultural food vendors, and themed programming of freedom, justice, equality, and creativity through the power of art.
Activities
- From 4-7 p.m. TMA’s Family Center on the Move, family friendly themed arts & crafts, glassblowing Demonstrations, and face painting by Toledo School for the Arts.
