The National Tractor Pulling Championships get underway tonight (Thursday, Aug. 18) with Session 1 at 7 p.m.
Opening ceremonies will begin about a half hour before with Abby Paskvan singing the National Anthem.
The event continues through Saturday, concluding with Session 5 beginning at 6 p.m.
Events scheduled are:
- Session 1: 4-Wheel Drive Trucks, Light Super Stocks, Unlimiteds, 2WD Trucks, and Light Unlimiteds
- Session 2, Friday, noon: Super Stock Diesels, Super Stock Diesel 4WD, Modified Minis, Light Unlimiteds, and Super Farm Tractors.
- Session 3, Friday, 7 p.m.: Modifieds, Pro Stocks, Super Semis, Super Stock Open, and 4WD Trucks.
- Session 4, Saturday, noon: Modifieds, Super Farm Tractors, 2WD Trucks, Super Stock Opens, and Light Super Stock.
- Session 5, Saturday, 6:30 p.m.: Super Stock Diesels, Pro Stocks, Modified Minis, Unlimiteds, Super Stock Diesel 4WD, and Super Semis.
