The Fallen Timbers Battlefield Preservation Commission and Waterville Historical Society invite the public to “Twilight on the Battlefield.” This event takes place on Saturday, July 11, from 6 – 9 p.m., at the Fallen Timbers Battlefield, located at 4949 Jerome Road, in Maumee.
On the walk around the battlefield, a flat one-and-a-half mile trail, visitors will be accompanied by a tour guide who will tell about the battle and answer questions. Along the way, there will be re-enactors in their full regalia who will bring a bit of “living history” to the experience.
Tours will leave from the Visitors’ Center every 20 minutes. For adults, a $20 donation is requested. Kids 17 and younger are free with a paid adult. To reserve a time visit https://www.watervillehistory.org/twilight-on-the-battlefield-1. Early reservations are encouraged as space is limited.
