Voters should cast ballots for school board candidates who support consolidated elementary plan

As a mother, BG resident, teacher, and member of the core levy committee, I completely support One Community, One School.  I firmly believe over the last several months we have successfully shown all of the many reasons this plan is best for our students, schools, and community.

My concern, however, is the confusion regarding the candidates for the Board of Education.  We have eight candidates running for only three open seats.  As has been stated on the Bowling Green Citizens in Support of our Schools Facebook page, of the eight candidates that are running, there are only four who support the One Community One School campaign  —  Jill Carr, Tracy Hovest, Ryan Myers, and Ginny Stewart.  Yes, this does leave us all in the difficult position of having to choose between four supportive candidates for only three open seats.

I would like to encourage you to remember these four names when you cast your vote! We need to have Board of Education members who support our school’s mission, teachers, administrators and most of all, our students!
