From BOWLING GREEN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce has announced that the recipient of its investor grant for the fourth quarter of 2025 is NAMI Wood County.

Courtney Rice, manager of development & marketing at NAMI Wood County, applied for the investor grant in hopes of using the money to offset the annual renewal fees for professional licensures required to maintain certification through the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (ODBH).

“With this funding, NAMI Wood County will be able to continue to support staff development efforts,” said Rice. “The investor grant will enable us to support continuing education efforts in addition to training fees.”

NAMI Wood County’s mission includes providing education, support, and advocacy for people living with a mental illness, the family and friends that support them, and the Wood County community.

The quarterly investor grants are available to all investors in good standing at the chamber, and the application is available online. The grant provides a chamber investor up to $1,000 that can offset the cost of an employee training program, the purchase of business-related equipment, or apply towards the offset of a BGSU/Owens student internship. The deadline for first quarter grant submission for 2026 is Tuesday, March 31.
