Patricia Ann Simmons died on April 5 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Pat was born on April 12, 1936, To Helen (Schramm) Artz and Edwin Artz. Pat was a lifelong resident of Wood County and was the second born daughter of their five children. She was a 1954 graduate of Perrysburg High School and Homecoming Queen. She attended The Ohio State University and Eastern Airline School. She was a legal secretary and court administrator in the Common Pleas Court in Bowling Green.
Pat married Donald D. Simmons at Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg. She was a former member of the Country Garden Club, Belmont Country Club, and Carranor Club.
Pat is survived by her husband, Donald, sisters: Nancy J. Bell, Sally J. Spitler, Candyce Sturtz, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, sister, Barbara J. Hartman and brother-in-law, Edgar Ball.
There will be no visitation and there will be a private burial service at Fort Meigs Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
