From FREEDOM 250
Freedom 250 is bringing its traveling volunteer museum, known as “Freedom Trucks,” to the Buckeye State, offering visitors an opportunity to explore the nation’s history through an interactive exhibit designed for all ages.
Rather than asking Americans to travel to Washington, the museum comes to them – transforming schools, civic spaces, and public venues into engaging educational environments. Each custom-built mobile exhibit features museum-quality interactive technology, multimedia storytelling, and hands-on experiences that highlight America’s founding and defining chapters, as well as the innovation that continues to shape the nation’s future.
The Freedom 250 mobile museum will make a stop at the Deshler Branch Library, 221 E. Maple St., Deshler, from Saturday, Aug. 15, to Sunday, Aug. 16. The exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
“America’s 250th anniversary is a moment to reflect on where we’ve been and inspire the next generation about America’s glowing future,” said Freedom 250 spokesperson Julia Friedland. “By bringing these interactive exhibits directly to the Buckeye State, we’re making our nation’s history accessible, engaging, and a memorable experience, especially for the many generations of Ohioans who will carry the American story forward.”
