Library to hold ribbon cutting for new bookmobile

The Wood County District Public Library celebrate the new WCDPL Bookmobile with a Launch Party on Friday, May 24 from 10 a.m. in the Bowling Green Library parking lot for a ribbon cutting and remarks from WCDPL director, Michael Penrod.

From 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., bookmobile and outreach staff will give tours of the new vehicle to families and guests. There will be to craft stations for all ages, including a folding paper craft to build a mini-bookmobile (while supplies last.

The bookmobile has expanded from 11 public stops to 19, and visits schools, daycares, and senior living facilities around the library’s service district.

In case of inclement weather, the party will be held in the Bowling Green Library Atrium.
