BG Fire Division collecting toys for ‘Hope for the Holidays’ event

The Bowling Green Fire Division, along with City of Bowling Green Mayor Mike Aspacher and employees, is partnering with 13 Action News and the Salvation Army to collect toys to be distributed to children during the holiday season. 

The collection will culminate with the 13 Action News one-day Hope for the Holidays drive-through event, which will take place in the Woodland Mall parking lot on Dec. 6 beginning at 6 a.m.

Those wishing to donate, may drop off unwrapped toys through Dec. 3 at the following Bowling Green locations:

  • Bowling Green Fire Station #1: 552 E. Court St.
  • Bowling Green Fire Station #2: 1060 Pearl St.
  • Bowling Green City Administration Building: 305 N. Main St.
  • Bowling Green Electric Division: 515 E. Wooster St.
  • Bowling Green Community Center: 1245 W Newton Road
  • Bowling Green Public Works Garage: 815 E Poe Road
  • Bowling Green Water Distribution & Wastewater Collection: 324 N. Maple St.

All collected toys will be delivered via fire truck the morning of the Hope for the Holidays event. City officials extend their thanks to those helping to make the holidays a little brighter for local families.
