On August 9 officers of the Bowling Green Police Division conducted 25 alcohol compliance checks of local liquor establishments. The underage informant was denied purchasing alcohol at 22 locations and was able to purchase alcohol in violation of law at three locations.
Charged with Underage Alcohol Sales were: Johnetta Johnson (42 yrs old from Bowling Green) of Speedway, 1650 E. Wooster; Kyle Nelson (21 yrs old from Bowling Green) of Marathon, 1240 W. Wooster; and Rebecca Verbosky (52 yrs old from Bowling Green) of North Main Drive Thru, 1049 N. Main Street.
All three subjects were issued a summons and are scheduled to appear in the Bowling Green Municipal Court on Aug. 19.
