Bowling Green State University graduate Errin Brooks is now a Grammy winner.
Brooks performed the role on Mingo in the Metropolitan Opera’s production of “Porgy and Bess.”
The recording of that production, “Gershwin: Porgy and Bess” won the Grammy for best opera recording.
Brooks received his Master’s in Music in 2012 from BGSU where he studied with Christopher Scholl.
