BMV offices, hair salons & more latest victims of COVID-19 closures

Gov. Mike De Wine today ordered the closure of barbershops, beauty salons, tattoo parlors, hair and nail salons.

He’s also closing all but five of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles offices in the state. Those five should allow for commercial drivers license renewal.

He’s instructing the Ohio State Highway Patrol not to ticket drivers whose license have expired.

He’s also asking business to take the temperature of every single employee every day before they come to work. The governor wants them to be aggressive in regard to cleaning surfaces and having soap or hand sanitizer available.

They should send employees home who are sick.
