From the BGHS MARCHING BAND

Members of the Bowling Green High School Marching Band will be canvassing local neighborhoods on October 8th, from 9am-3pm to collect monetary donations for the band, as well as canned goods for Brown Bag Food Project. Community support of Tag Day helps to fund band activities, uniforms, instruments, and educational experiences.

Under the Direction of Mr. Bruce Corrigan, Mrs. Samantha Preisner and Mrs Jennifer Metzger, the Bobcat Marching Band performs at football games, parades, pep rallies, local marching festivals, community events and more.  Already this school year they have performed at home and away Varsity Football games, the Wood County Fair, the Ohio State Fair in Columbus, the Anthony Wayne Band Festival, and Rally Together BG. Band members are regularly selected for participation in Honor bands across the state of Ohio. Last year the band travelled to Florida where they performed at Universal Studios.

With more than 100 students, the Bobcat Marching Band works to inspire a lifelong love for music. The “pride of Bowling Green High School”, the band thrives on the opportunity to perform, develop friendships, support the community and create memories that will last a lifetime.
