The smell of funnel cakes filled the air during Firefly Nights in downtown Bowling Green. People of all ages could be found playing games, waiting in lines for food trucks, and enjoying live music. Many festivalgoers stopped to paint tiles that will become part of a larger mosaic mural made possible by the Bowling Green Community Foundation. Vendors offered a variety of goods including stained glass, 3D prints, plants, and food. The kids’ zone featured trampolines with harnesses, large-scale inflatable bowling, and face painting. Downtown businesses also joined the fun by offering special items and sales. The event will return on July 24.
