The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce has awarded its Investor Grant for the third quarter of 2024 is Julie’s Dance Studio.

Julie Setzer, owner of Julie’s Dance Studio, applied for the Investor Grant to offset the cost of portable stereo systems with Bluetooth speakers. The portability of these systems ensures that they can be easily transported between locations, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor settings. Wireless Bluetooth-enabled systems allow for easy setup and operation, even for users with limited technical experience, and multiple users can connect at the same time, facilitating a smooth transition between music sources.

“The main objective is to enhance group experiences, engagement, and entertainment opportunities in indoor and outdoor settings,” said Setzer. “These portable systems will facilitate immersive audio experiences, support large and small gatherings, and provide flexibility for different applications across diverse community settings… such as Senior Center performances, community library performances, and various other places… such as Wood County Sheriff’s events, Firefly Nights, Wood County Fair, Henry County Fair, Pemberville Free Fair, and many others.”

The Quarterly Investor Grants are available to all Investors in good standing at the Chamber, and the application is available online for easy submission. The Quarterly Investor Grant provides a Chamber Investor up to $1,000 that can offset the cost of an employee training program, the purchase of business-related equipment, or applied towards the offset of a BGSU/Owens student internship. The deadline for 4thQuarter Grant submission is Dec. 31.
