ProMedica and the Toledo Museum of Art have announced their first-ever winter concert series. The concert series will consist of musical performances on Thursdays, Jan. 30, March 5 and 26, at 7 p.m. at the Peristyle Theater on the campus of the Toledo Museum of Art.

Kicking off the concert series will be Toledo native Max Boyle, who made it onto the top 13 as a contestant on NBC’s The Voice. His most recent release in 2019, “Always,” has continued to trend on every major streaming platform, reaching over 100,000 total streams.

The second concert will feature Bassel & the Supernaturals a soul/funk band that works to raise awareness of the war in Syria. The band’s new single “Stepping Back in Time” was recently featured on Spotify’s official “All Funked Up” playlist. Its upcoming album, “Smoke & Mirrors,” will be released in April 2020.

The final concert will feature Birds of Chicago, an Americana folk band founded in March 2012 in Chicago, Illinois. The band is led by husband and wife, JT Nero and Allison Russell. NPR Music named Birds of Chicago one of the Best of Americanafest 2018. Nero grew up and started his musical career in Toledo.
