Oldies act Sunday Drive opens Live! In The House concerts in Pemberville

Live! In The House Concert Series at the Pemberville Opera House, 115 Main St., Pemberville, opens with Sunday Drive performing music from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s Saturday Sept. 7,  at 7:30 p.m.

.The musical family from Tennessee has won many honors for their performances. Members are Misty, Jeff  and   Dusty Treece.

This is the 12th season for the concert series presented by the The Pemberville-Freedom Area Historical Society. 

Individual Tickets $12 or season tickets $90 available at Beeker’s General Store or at the door.

Other performances scheduled are:

  • Oct. 5:   Williamson Branch  Nashville-based, show that features a fine-tuned variety of bluegrass, gospel and country music with world class Appalachian clog dancing.
  • Nov. 2:   Voices of Ohio, a dynamic professional adult vocal show group that performs a wide variety of contemporary and traditional music.
  • Dec. 7:   Historical Society Gala  Enjoy a ‘fancy’ night out at the opera house! Featuring music, mocktails and an assortment of appetizers. Tickets purchased outside of the season ticket package will be $25. 
  • Jan. 4:   Silent Movie Night  featuring Lynne Long on the piano.
  • Feb. 1:   Heartland Sings Absolutely A Cappella  tight harmonies and special vocal effects as five voices recreate the whole orchestra.
  • March 7: Lone Raven  performs an eclectic blend of traditional music from the Celtic lands and various areas of the world. 
  • April 4:  Picks n Sticks, an acoustic string band plays all kinds of different older music in all kinds of styles on banjo, fiddle, piano, mandolin, penny whistle, accordion, auto harp, hammer dulcimer, uke, trumpet, bells, clarinet, bass to name a few.
  • May 2:   Lisa Biales Trio,  an Ohio native who grew up in a musical family, is known as the Belle of The Blues.
