Online NowOH exhibit still accepting regional artists

The deadline to enter the Northwest Ohio (NowOH) Community Art Show is Monday, June 15. The exhibit provides artists of all skill levels and experience an opportunity to display work in a professional gallery setting.

This year , for safety and health, the exhibition will be available online, and, due to hardship concerns, the artists’ entry fees have been waived.

The show will be open online July 15 at 7 p.m. and close Aug. 15.

E-mail galleries@bgsu.edu for further information.

All work submitted that meets the requirements in the Prospectus will be included in the show, traditionally displayed in the BGSU Fine Arts Center Galleries.

The exhibition features artists of all abilities in a variety of media, with awards presented in a number of categories, including youth awards and a popular choice award. Awards will include a $500 Best of Show Award, a Youth Art Award and a Popular Choice Award.

Artists  from Defiance Erie Fulton Hancock Henry Lucas, Ottawa Paulding Sandusky Seneca Williams and Wood are eligible to participate.

Entrants may submit up to three original pieces that were completed in the past two years. All work that meets show rules will be exhibited. Artists of all skill levels and experience are encouraged to participate.
