Perrysburg man seriously injured in early morning crash

The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle crash that seriously injured a 28-year-old Perrysburg man early this morning (9/15)  in Perrysburg Township.

At 12:22 a.m. a Jeep Cherokee operated by Alex Pease, of Perrysburg, was headed west on Five Point Road east of Lime City Road when he traveled left of the center line and off the south side of the roadway, where his vehicle struck a culvert.  Pease suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash.

Pease was transported by EMS to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo.

Pease was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the Perrysburg Township Police Department, Perrysburg Township Fire & EMS and Pat and Son Towing.
