The Wood County Emergency Management Agency has issued the following advisory:
We may see an early shower or storm in the morning between 6 and 11 a.m. Any severe weather should hold off until later in the day, most likely between 4 p.m and 8 p.m.
These afternoon/ evening storms may produce damaging wind gusts, large hail and the potential for tornadoes. Total rainfall is expected to be 0.25-0.50 inches.
Depending on the cloud cover and rain during the day, it could lessen the impact of the afternoon severe weather. Based on the timing this could create travel concerns with the evening commute Thursday.
