Rieck Center opens story trail featuring Denise Fleming’s picture book on ponds

The Rieck Center for Habitat Studies will be celebrating the grand opening of their Story Trail for Children at the Center located at 17311 TR 166, Arlington, on May 21, 1:30-4 p.m.,

The Story Trail is titled “Small Pond, Big Ideas!” and will feature the children’s story “In The Small, Small Pond” written and illustrated by Denise Fleming. Fleming is scheduled to make a presentation at 2 p.m. on May 21 and be available for autographing copies of her book (a limited number of books will be available for purchase from MAZZA).

Festivities for the grand opening of the story trail will have several kid activities.

The story trail will remain up through Aug. 1 to be enjoyed by The Center’s visitors.

This is a free event sponsored by the University of Findlay, The FIndlay Hancock Community Foundation, MAZZA and The Rieck Center for Habitat Studies.
