The BG Community really showed its love for our downtown businesses with the Cash Mob on Tuesday, July 30, so let’s band together and do it again bigger and better.
The Back to School themed Cash Mob will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 28, between noon and 8 p.m. to give everyone an opportunity to “cash mob” these businesses after returning to school from summer break and welcoming our BGSU students back to BG.
Want to make dinner easy on a Wednesday night? Need to get last minute school supplies? Or want to reward your student(s) or yourself for gracefully getting through the first week of school? Well, BG Cash Mob is the answer.
The highlighted businesses to “mob” are:
- Ben’s, store hours 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Rock’em Sock’em Retro, store hours noon – 8 p.m. (will give 10% off if you mention Cash Mob).
- Easy Street Cafe, restaurant hours 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. (enjoy drinks, dinner, and/or dessert).
- Call of the Canyon, restaurant hours 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Carry out and delivery available for lunch/dinner.
- Mr. Spots, store hours 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. (Special: 50 cent wings from 2-7 dine-in or carryout).
Don’t forget we have a Farmer’s Market that evening from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. and please feel free to stop by other businesses as well!
Remember metered parking is free, courtesy of the city, but some parking spots do have time restrictions.
At the mob, there are 4 rules:
- Be courteous to business owners and staff.
- Try to spend $10 to $20 in at least two locations.
- Bring a friend or family member (or two or more, if you like) or order carry out/delivery.
- Love our small businesses during this construction process.
