The end of the year is a time many organizations reach out to ask for financial support. As we here at BG Independent News noted early this year when we asked for our readers’ support, we are not good at asking for money. Still, a number of you didn’t need to be asked. We’ve been pleased with the checks that have recently come our way. These contributions to BG Independent are more than monetary support for our efforts but votes of confidence for our mission to provide quality coverage of what matters to our community.
As we moved into 2024, we will continue our efforts to assure that this venture is sustainable. Financial support, from both contributions and our valued advertisers, are essential.
