It’s all Biden’s Fault! That’s all I hear these days aside the whining over, and over, and over again over the state of our economy, especially regarding the price of gas. It’s as if these people haven’t the foggiest clue, or even care as to how we got here in the first place, or how we’re going to fix it. Everybody’s angry and sick and tired, but nobody even has any idea what they are talking about, and their proposed solutions to the challenges facing our nation are even scarier!
I myself am tired too, but the difference is, is that I’m not willing to hand my freedom, and our Democracy, over to an autocrat again in exchange for a strong economy, as if we had that under his administration in the first place, we didn’t!
I suggest my dissatisfied neighbors take a deep breath, and put their guns back in the cabinet. We need answers, and policies that bring us together, not fear mongering and gas lighted lies that tear us apart!
No one in this country, should have to give up their rights in exchange for a strong economy, we’ve never had to do so before and we should not have to now. Nor should we have to swap freedoms such as giving only one party’s supporters all the rights and privileges guaranteed in the constitution, and deprive the other one of theirs!
The ridiculousness, and stupidity of some of the things I have heard proposed by some of my neighbors, is beyond breathtaking, but the idea of putting our nation back into the hands of the very people who unleashed a medieval mob on our elected representatives in the Capitol, is definitely not the answer, and I for one refuse to support such nonsense.
Let me remind my neighbors that we are in this mess because the wrong decision was made in 2016 with the election of Donald Trump! Everything that we are suffering is because of his and his Administration’s incompetence, cowardice, and corruption.
Trump lied, people died, and the economy crashed! That’s fact!
Since I have no evidence to make the accusation that the big oil companies retaliated against the Average American because Trump lost and with him went their corporate welfare, I will not bother making that losing argument. However, having heard of the retaliations and threats that was unleashed upon some of my neighbors by their employers because they voted Trump out, it’s not hard to believe such rumors are true.
The bottom line here is that there is nothing constructive being proposed by or enacted by the majority of Republican office holders both in Republican controlled state legislatures, by their candidates for office, or their voters. It’s all about Trump! Here are examples of the current Republican proposed and enacted policies.
1) Repeated Lies About The 2020 Election
2) Racism
3) Sexism
4) Violence
5)Guns
These are just a small amount of the ridiculous arguments made by what’s left of the Republican Party, and its voters. Not one of the arguments they continually parrot is helpful to anyone in this country, unless of course you have a thing for hurting other human beings, to benefit yourself. Well… then that makes it acceptable right? I think not!
To be honest, judging by the recent predictions coming from the media, I believe we are on the cusp of entering a new dark age because no one it seems understands that jumping from one party to the other does not work anymore.
We are at the mercy of a government that has become of the party, by the party, and for the party in power instead of being a Government of the people! Turning this country back over to the very people who tried to turn it into a Dictatorship is flat out madness and anyone thinking of voting in such a way is either dangerously insane or completely stupid.
There is a solution to the problem. It’s time for a new Party to rise! Not a party of radicals or lunatics, but a party of reason that can break the stalemate, and put an end to lifetime members of Congress, holding office as if it’s their right, and literally being accountable to no one!
That is why we are here. That is why Trump rose to power, and that is why our Democracy is still in peril from Trump and his cult members.
Right now, the only thing the Republican Party cares about is seeking vengeance for a 70 year old wanna-be Dictator who tried to overthrow our Government! The Democratic Party is still trying to cling to the belief that it is possible to govern with an entire party that has sold its soul to Tyranny!
That’s where we’re at right now in this country and quite frankly, it’s beyond scary. It has become deadly in many cases.
I hope for the love of God that this insanity that we’re all trapped in comes to an end. I’d really like to go back to the peaceful life I enjoyed for 52 years in this “Great Nation”.
