The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department is offering a family evening archery program on Tuesdays in May, starting May 9, from 6 to 8 p.m., on the Conneaut sledding hill.
An extension of the after-school archery program, parents/guardians can now participate with their children in family evening archery. No experience is required. All equipment will be provided for a fun, friendly, challenging two-hour session that pits brothers against sisters and kids against adults for bragging rights.
This program will run two hours on Tuesday evenings in May for four weeks. Novice shooters will be taught safety and fundamentals of archery by trained staff, and weekly sessions will increase in difficulty to challenge adults and kids alike. This program is based outdoors and weather dependent, so if a session is canceled due to poor conditions, it will be rescheduled at a later date/time.
Register online or at the BG Training and Community Center. For questions regarding this program, email Mike Przysiecki at email@example.com.
