A fatal crash on I-75 in Henry Township claimed the life of a Whitehouse woman Saturday (Dec. 3) night shortly after 10 p.m.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers from the Bowling Green Post responded to the three-vehicle crash at 10:13 p.m. near mile post 171 in Henry Township, Wood County, Ohio.
According to the state patrol, Ivory Quinn, 30, of Toledo, Ohio was driving a 2008 Cadillac SRX northbound on I-75 when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed. Her vehicle became disabled in the left lane of the highway.
Brandy Houghtalling, 34, of Whitehouse, who was driving a 2014 Ford Fusion northbound on I-75, struck the unoccupied disabled Cadillac SRX.
Houghtalling’s vehicle then struck a 2010 Toyota Camry, driven by Jamal Holmes, 49, of Toledo, that was also traveling northbound on I-75.
Houghtalling was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Holmes and his three passengers were transported to the Wood County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in this crash. The crash is still under investigation.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by North Baltimore EMS, Mid
County EMS, Huron Valley EMS, Ed’s Towing, Ray’s Towing, and VJ’s Towing.
